Student Support Services for Thriving at SSU

Sonoma State University offers several resources for students in need, including emergency funding, a food pantry, and counseling services. SSU also offers computer loaners through the library to support students in need of technology.

  1. Basic Needs Resources: This initiative provides support for students experiencing food or housing insecurity, including access to emergency funding and other resources. You can find more information on the Basic Needs page here: Sonoma State University Basic Needs.
  2. Lobo's Pantry: This on-campus food pantry provides free food and hygiene products to all SSU students. It is located in Zinfandel Village, and students can shop once a week. More information about Lobo's Pantry is available here: Lobo's Pantry.
  3. Counseling Services (CAPS): Sonoma State also provides comprehensive mental health services, including crisis counseling, short-term individual therapy, and a 24/7 counseling support line. For details on accessing these services, visit the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) page.
