I’ve known I wanted to be a writer ever since I learned to write, so coming to SSU for an English degree was an easy decision. Staying for a Master’s Degree was easy too. I had a great time! I learned good things, met cool people, and spent some fine years working at the Writing Center. I’m grateful for my time at SSU for many reasons. I even went on to marry someone else from the English department.
After graduating, my people skills from all that tutoring helped me get a day job working with the public, and I spent my evenings writing. It’s been a roller coaster of a writing career with many ups and downs, though the future looks bright. I just released a new sci-fi book that I’m very excited about: Spectacular Silver Earthling, about a snarky robot working in space television.
